AHS Alumni are invited to jump on board the legendary Madaket and take a 80’s Sunset Cruise of Humboldt Bay.

Christel Collins (Chris Olson in 1983) will be hosting a special Pre-40th reunion event.

Here is what you need to know:

Date: Thursday, August 3, 2023

Time: 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM (1 hour and 30 minutes).

Cost: Reservations before June 30, 2023 = $19.83 per person.

Reservations following July 1 – August 1, 2023 = $25.00

Boarding begins 15 minutes before departure at the Foot of C Street in Eureka.

Please dress warm, and bring blankets if desired.

Cross Streets are 1st & C. Parking is abundant and free in adjacent parking lots.

No-host bar. They accept cash and cards and tabs can be run. Children, infants, and even friendly dogs can jump on board.

There are only 40 spaces so people should reserve ASAP.

Tradition on Humboldt Bay!

Since 1910, the Madaket has been serving passengers on the waterfront of Eureka. Scenic tours are offered daily.

Learn the history of Humboldt Bay during an 8.5 mile leisurely cruise along the shore of the bay while the captain explains local history, industries, activities, points of interest and wildlife. Seals are sure to be seen along with migratory birds, the Fisherman’s statue and iconic Carson Mansion.

Enjoy a hot or cold beverage from Madaket’s tiny bar, the smallest licensed bar in California.
